TITECH autosort

The TITECH autosort is a multifunctional sorting system to recover a wide range of pieces of material from different waste streams, single stream, packaging, paper, household waste and other sorting tasks looking for enhanced material information and color in combination.

With TITECH autosort, you are choosing the most flexible sorting system from our range of offerings. TITECH autosort, combines NIR and VIS sensors into a universal modular sorting system that meets a wide variety of needs as well as highly specialized ones. The VIS sensor, for example, can be used to recognize print media by CMYK spectral analysis. TITECH autosort sorts a wide variety of materials, everything from paper and carton (printed, coated or untreated), to many types of plastic. You get reliable fractions at top purity grade.

Detection Techniques

Resolution // In order to sort different material grain sizes, our machines are available in a number of resolution stages. The highest resolution is about 2.5 mm.

The TITECH autosort uses the new DUOLINE® scanning technology which conducts a double scan on every pass. Extremely fast and extremely reliable NIR sensors take in the specific infrared spectra of various objects with a very high optical resolution.

The double scanning process makes it possible to significantly increase the distance between the scanner unit and the conveyer belt while maintaining the high resolution.

This minimises damage to the optical components and significantly increases reliability.

Alongside its superior sorting quality, the TITECH autosort provides a high degree of flexibility and a full range of features, including the statistical determination of the input material, built-in maintenance and control functions of the valve units and the option of controlling and monitoring the sorting unit from a control room.

Technical Specification

Sensor configurations

A //
Our advanced near infrared (NIR) spectrometry sensor recognizes materials based on their specific and unique spectral properties – NIR1

B //
A second NIR sensor delivers additional spectral information and thus offers a
broader spectrum – NIR1-NIR2

C //
The combination of a NIR sensor and a visual (VIS) spectrometry sensor delivers information for sorting materials by type and color – NIR1-VIS

D //
The most flexible model collects information by means of two NIR and one VIS
sensors for additional and special applications – NIR1-NIR2-VIS
