Increasing demand and new applications for sensor-based sorting systems have prompted market leader TITECH to expand its customer support team in the UK.
Gary Audain has recently joined the company as a service engineer. He brings a wealth of experience in IT applications to the role, which he will use to fine-tune programming of TITECH sorting systems to optimise their performance. Based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, Gary extends the national coverage and responsiveness that TITECH can offer its customers.
TITECH is also recruiting an additional sales engineer, who is scheduled to come on board in September. A newly created administrative role, to provide support to the sales and service teams, will also be filled by the end of the year.
Commenting on the company’s continued growth, UK Managing Director Jonathan Clarke said: "New markets and applications for our sensor-based sorting systems are developing all the time as new materials streams, such as commercial and industrial waste, become targets for resource recovery. We therefore need to make sure that we continue to offer excellent standards of service and support to our customers. As a result we anticipate that TITECH’s workforce in the UK will have doubled by the end of 2010.“
