This plant receives recyclable waste from households in the Hampshire area on a single stream. In each of the two parallel lines 12 tons are sorted every hour. TITECH is present with four units. One TITECH polysort® is sorting mixed plastics and a second TITECH polysort® is sorting paper. On a separate line we have installed two TITECH papersort® units cleaning the de-ink fraction.

The Alton plant shows TITECH’s ability to work on single stream systems, sorting both plastics and paper.
